Tyler, the Creator is in a reflective mood. Seated in his Hawthorne studio surrounded by vintage furniture and unreleased vinyl test pressings, he speaks candidly about aging in public and learning to trust his instincts.
“Every album is a time capsule,” he explains. “I don’t want to repeat myself. I’d rather confuse people for a year and then have them come back and say they finally get it.”
